Mark a useful arrival point, such as the entrance or controls. Choose either method below and send one JSON file to the atlas administrator in the server group, with the owner, products, access instructions and useful AFK or operating notes.

Option 1 · On the website

  1. Select the correct dimension. Open Waypoints → + Add, or double-click an empty map location.
  2. Enter a name and X/Z, plus Y if known. An optional Chinese name is editable separately. Choose a shape/color, or expand Minecraft stuff and search for an item icon.
  3. Save and check the location. Choose Export mark in the details or row’s ⋯ menu, then send the downloaded JSON.

Option 2 · In Minecraft

Download THUNION Atlas · 1.6.3 · Fabric 26.3 ↓
  1. Use Java 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5+ and a compatible Fabric API 0.160.5+26.3+. Put the JAR in your instance’s mods folder, replace the previous Atlas JAR, and restart Minecraft. The server needs no mod.
  2. Join thunion.club, select your actual Main or Mirror backend in F9, and stand at the build’s marker location.
  3. Press F8 or use /atlasregister. Enter the name/icon, check the captured dimension and X/Y/Z, then choose Save JSON. Use position captures a new position if you have moved.
  4. Open Output folder and send the new JSON. The default is atlas-submissions in your game instance. Use My submissions to revise an earlier record; send only its newest file.
Saving or exporting does not publish a mark. The administrator reviews it and updates the shared site. To correct a shared entry, edit and export that existing mark so its ID stays the same.

In-game navigation

Install THUNION Atlas 1.6.3, then open F9. Main and Mirror are supported; legacy worlds and singleplayer are not. The backend selector is manual: confirm it after reconnecting or using /server main or /server mirror.

  1. Search a name or coordinates, choose Elytra or Walking, and select the destination.
  2. Follow the HUD and marker. Known Y uses the actual height; unknown Y uses a horizontal marker. Ordinary navigation stops within 3 blocks; Stop navigation cancels it.
  3. Routes use recorded portals, End gateways, roof windows and your respawn point, updating about every 10 seconds. Railways are not used for navigation.

Inside the Nether

In Elytra mode, search a bastion by atlas number, such as #168, for a smooth 3D flight route. Follow the entry marker to join the cyan line. The final approach seeks a visible bastion surface; buried or narrow entrances may still need walking. Under-roof flight routes replan after you stray at least 64 blocks from the line.

Press F6 to approach the nearest registered roof window, or search Nether roof window in F9. Land and climb through the opening yourself. New windows arrive with website data updates. Predicted corridors may differ from server terrain; the entry leg is ordinary coordinate guidance. Watch for obstacles and lava: this is guidance, not automatic flight.

Personal destinations and Mirror

F8 marks immediately become private destinations. In F9 → Local, select your saved Xaero waypoint world; after changes, use Refresh or /atlasnav reload. This reads xaero/minimap waypoints, not world-map images. Confirmed sleeping/respawn updates are recorded automatically; use Respawn point to correct a missing or outdated location.

The switch button sends /server mirror or /server main. Confirm the new backend after arrival. Mirror’s TP requires Creative mode, permission and confirmation; Main has no teleport action.

Shared data updates

Keep F9 → Data → Website (automatic) selected. The mod checks after backend selection and about every 10 minutes. Choose Update now or run /atlasnav update after publication. A failed download keeps the last valid cache. Replacing the JAR in the same game instance preserves your personal files and settings.

For offline use, choose Local files, save the download below as config/thunion-atlas-navigation-network.json, then run /atlasnav reload. config/thunion-atlas-navigation.json holds personal settings and respawn points; config/thunion-atlas-updates.json holds update settings. F8, Xaero and respawn data stay on your computer.

Structures & counts

Select a dimension, expand Structures and tick the types you want. All structures toggles the current dimension’s layers; a mixed box means some are enabled. Layers start off on a fresh visit.

Click a pin or row for coordinates and details. Chambers show spawners and normal/ominous vaults; monuments show wet sponges and sponge rooms; bastions show placed gilded blackstone, excluding chest loot. Other structures and desert wells provide locations. Lists show 200 results per page; the map shows all matching pins.

The survey covers X/Z ±6000. Counts describe original generation, not remaining server blocks. Structure coordinates are location anchors, not guaranteed entrances.

Search across dimensions

Global search finds farms, waypoints, portals, gateways, stations and routes across dimensions, even when hidden. English and Chinese names work, as do facility products and owners.

Choose a result to focus it. Search 宝藏, for example, to find the Buried treasures layer checkbox. Narrow broad queries for more specific results.

Facility profiles contain recorded owners, products, status, usage notes and sources. Send corrections to the administrator; wiki changes do not update the atlas automatically. Click the club logo for the changelog; its exclamation badge announces unread entries.

Terrain & cave layers

Map background offers the server snapshot, biome map and imported Xaero Nether roof. The roof view helps locate builds above Y127. Images are saved snapshots, without live player tracking; new buildings appear after the administrator refreshes them.

In Overworld, open Underground, enable the layer and choose Y. Toggle Deep Dark, Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves and Sulfur Caves separately. These are biome areas, not open-tunnel maps. Disable the layer to restore the surface.

Distance, filters & visits

Expand Your position above the results and enter the selected dimension’s X/Z. Use Find nearest or a distance sort. Portals and gateways also have position/sort controls. Re-enter your position after reloading.

Marks visibility controls custom waypoints and filters structures by visits or farm marks. A structure’s visit checkbox records that you have been there; it is separate from its visibility switch. Progress saves in this browser.

Waypoints & roof windows

Waypoints → + Add creates a location; double-clicking the map prefills X/Z. The row’s ⋯ menu edits, deletes or exports a mark. Names, Y, colors, shapes and Minecraft icons are editable. Import files accepts one or several compatible submission JSON files.

Register a Nether roof window

  1. Choose Nether and add/edit a waypoint at the opening’s X/Z.
  2. Set the type to Nether roof window. Check the lower/upper landing heights and choose Both directions, To roof only or From roof only to match actual access.
  3. Save, choose Export mark, and send the JSON to the atlas administrator in the server group for verification.

After approval and publication, the mod receives it automatically. Upward-capable windows can be roof-return destinations. An ordinary waypoint alone does not create a transport link.

Railways

In Overworld, the railway button shows/hides the network. Click a route for its stops. Planned lines are dashed; open lines are available for use.

In Railway, add a station or route and choose map editing. Click to place points and drag to adjust. Select a route point to edit coordinates, station attachment and turn radius together. Attached points follow moved stations; stops follow attachment order.

Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y undo/redo dragging while editing. Save commits; Cancel discards. Export railway JSON for a backup, or send Export shared railways to the administrator for publication.

Portals & End gateways

Open Portals in Nether to record a roof portal and its actual Overworld destination. Use measured coordinates; the 8:1 scale does not confirm a pairing. Overworld shows recorded return endpoints, with distance sorting to find a route home.

! means the Overworld portal cannot return to the roof. Record this when known; that endpoint is omitted from the Overworld return list. Confirm detected candidates in game.

In End, open End gateways to record the gateway and destination. A landing pin does not confirm a return gateway. Fill destination X and Z together, plus Y when known.

Show pins at all zooms keeps these pins visible in wide views. Export mark shares one record and its connection. In Nether, Map background → Show portal boundary toggles the ±750 dashed square.

Save, import & share

Visits and edited marks save in this browser. Save & share marks → Export marks makes a backup; Import marks restores it. Back up before changing browsers, devices or site addresses.

Use Export mark for one submission. Export shared map creates the administrator’s full marks.js snapshot; railways have a separate export. Downloading does not publish anything.

Shared data is the administrator’s baseline; your edits or deletions may override later shared updates. There is no account-based synchronization or automatic upload of private changes.

Import Xaero waypoints

Download the Xaero waypoint exporter ↓
  1. Extract the ZIP and open Export-Xaero-Waypoints.html, keeping xaero-waypoints.js beside it.
  2. Select the relevant xaero/minimap folder or waypoint TXT files. Choose the right server/world and check dimensions.
  3. Select the points and choose Download selected JSON. For one new farm, export only that point.
  4. Load it with Waypoints → Import files, or send it with usage notes to the administrator.

The tool runs locally without Python and leaves saves unchanged. xaero/world-map contains terrain, not waypoints. Fill portal pairings and roof-window types separately.
